Located in Avelgem, the NOVANDI river/road terminal occupies a strategic position at the heart of the Seine-Scheldt corridor, one of the major European projects aimed at strengthening river connectivity between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

 

Thanks to this site, NOVANDI is anticipating the development of new, efficient river connections linking Wallonia to the major seaports of the northern European coast (Dunkirk, Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam), as well as to the Seine Valley and the Port of Paris.

 

The Avelgem terminal, combining direct access to the waterway and efficient road connections, is designed to handle a wide range of goods—bulk, containers, industrial loads—while promoting more sustainable and decarbonized logistics.
